Yesterday, it was reported that one of Real Madrid's key stars, Jude Bellingham, sustained an injury and will be sidelined for approximately a month. According to the official statement, he has been diagnosed with a strain of the plantar muscle in his right foot.

Initially, it was expected that the Englishman would return to action after the international break in early September. However, it has since been revealed that his recovery will take longer, around a month, meaning Bellingham will miss approximately seven matches for Los Blancos. He will be unavailable for games against Valladolid, Las Palmas, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Espanyol, Alavés, and the first match of the Champions League.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bellingham's priority is to return to the field in time for the Madrid derby. On September 29, Real Madrid is scheduled to face Atlético Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitano, and the Englishman is aiming to be fully fit for this crucial fixture to be available for Carlo Ancelotti.

It's worth noting that Bellingham is not the only injured midfielder at Los Blancos. Before the UEFA Super Cup match, Eduardo Camavinga also sustained an injury and will be out for the next five to six weeks. This situation opens up opportunities for Luka Modrić and Dani Ceballos to gain more playing time.
