Chelsea continues to conduct an absolutely incredible transfer campaign this summer. The club has already signed 11 new players and is preparing for a 12th transfer.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea has taken the first step towards the transfer of Brentford’s top scorer, Ivan Toney. However, the details of the potential transfer have not yet been disclosed.

Earlier reports suggested that Toney was close to moving to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Ahli expressing interest.

Toney missed a significant portion of last season due to suspension, scoring 4 goals in 17 Premier League matches. In total, he has 36 goals and 11 assists in 85 appearances.

In the first round of the Premier League, Chelsea lost 0-2 to Manchester City but followed that with a 6-2 away victory over Wolverhampton.
