Quote: "We are interested in acquiring Cardiff. It's my hometown club, I grew up there, and my uncle (Chris Pike) used to play for them. Being part of the ownership group would be a dream come true. This club means a lot to me. I grew up there and would love to be part of Cardiff's development and help them return to the Premier League, where they truly belong.
I know how amazing our Welsh and Cardiff supporters are. It would be fantastic to try and achieve something together. We're working on establishing a connection with Cardiff, and there will be news about this in the future, but I hope we can make something happen," Bale said in an interview with Sky Sports.
