There will be more football. Real Madrid will take part in another tournament this winter

Many players from top football clubs continue to complain about an overly packed match schedule and the limited rest time between seasons. Real Madrid players have echoed these concerns, yet despite this, the Los Blancos management has decided to participate in another tournament this summer.
Details: The FIFA Club World Cup is getting a brand-new format, which will debut next year. However, a decision has been made to hold a tournament following the old format. It will be called the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and will take place in Doha, Qatar, according to Marca.
The tournament will feature six teams - winners of the top club tournaments from different football confederations around the world. As Champions League winners, Real Madrid will also participate in the tournament, receiving a direct entry into the final, which will be held on December 18. This match will come just three days after Real Madrid’s game against Rayo Vallecano and four days before their final fixture of the year against Sevilla.
Reminder: The FIFA Intercontinental Cup kicks off tomorrow, September 22, with a round-of-16 match between AFC champions Al-Ain and OFC champions Auckland City. Other participating teams include CAF champions Al Ahly and CONCACAF champions Pachuca. The Libertadores Cup winner has yet to be determined.
