Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will face off in the fall for the IBF heavyweight world championship title. However, sparks are already flying before the fight.

Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that during a face-to-face joint interview, there was a confrontation between the boxers.

"It was towards the end, when they said, 'September 21, not before,' and Daniel said, 'If you want to go now, I'll go now.' AJ said, 'Do you want me to smash this chair over your face right now? Don't ever disrespect me like that again.' And he went after him. They had to be pulled apart," Hearn recounted.

The fight between Joshua and Dubois is scheduled for September 21 at Wembley Stadium.

It's worth noting that Daniel Dubois recently became the IBF heavyweight champion. This occurred after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF heavyweight belt.

The Ukrainian boxer released a video message, stating that the belt is important for AJ and Dubois, so he is giving it to them as a gift. On September 21, they will fight to determine the new IBF heavyweight champion.

Earlier, the IBF stated that they had not received a request to sanction a fight between Joshua and Dubois.

Over the past 11 months, Joshua has been in excellent form, securing four decisive victories over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou.
