Inter Miami has almost reached an agreement with Luis Suárez

The American club Inter Miami is preparing another high-profile transfer.

According to information from the Spanish publication The Athletic, the club is in negotiations with the Uruguayan striker of Gremio,Luis Suárez. The parties are currently discussing a one-year contract. The Uruguayan will leave his club at the end of the year and become a free agent.

According to the source, a final decision has not yet been made on how exactly they plan to introduce Suárez into the team, because there are some restrictions in MLS.

At the same time, there is information that the management of the American League has already begun to discuss possible changes in the rules regarding the composition. In the near future, all clubs, including Inter Miami, must approve the selection of the squad. The deadline to select players is Friday evening, before the start of the MLS weekend.

According to the current regulations, each MLS club can have three players on its roster, whose salaries may exceed the team’s budget. Last season, the list of such players included Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Gregore. Apparently, the club must reach an agreement with Gregor to sign Suarez.
