Thembinkosi Lorch may leave Wydad Casablanca for Libyan giants Al-Ittihad in this transfer window as the Libyans have 'reportedly' tabled an offer
Thembinkosi Lorch is likely to leave Wydad Casablanca in this transfer window.
The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is reportedly on his way to Libyan side Al-Ittihad.
Lorch has been impressive for the Moroccan giants this season.
Lorch has five goals and four assists in the 11 games he played for the Moroccans and seemingly that’s what made the Libyan giants fall in love with his displays.
It is reported that Al-Ittihad have tabled an offer hard to resist for the Red Castle.
History between the two clubs shows that this move for Lorch is possible. Sidi Bouna Amar, Mauritania midfielder, is the latest player to have moved from Morocco to Libya in the past.
That Wydad have Moise Paniagua and veteran attack-minded players in Wissam Ben Yedder and Hakim Ziyech is something which could make them let go of Lorch.
Al-Ittihad’s extravagance on players has seen them bring players for amounts as high as R20-million as they signed Togo international Yawo Agbagno from ASO Chlef and Kahraba from Egyptian giants Al-Ahly.
They also signed Botwana international Thatoyayone Ditlhokwe from Kaizer Chiefs for a reported R15-million price.
