Themba Zwane on making it to the World Cup with Bafana Bafana: I will be doing to the World Cup with Bafana and I will show the coach I deserve to go

Themba Zwane is certain he will board the plane with Bafana Bafana to this year’s World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder missed the Africa Cup of Nations during December and January, with Bafana Bafana, this year due to injury and has been doubtful for the World Cup.

Fears are abound that the midfielder, trusted by national team coach Hugo Broos may not make the squad to the global showpiece as he has been injury prone.

he has missed the greater part of the current Betway Premiership season through injury but returned at the start of the year although he has not cemented his place in Miguel Cardoso side.

But at the launch of the Mamelodi Sundowns soccer schools, Zwane said he will be going to the World Cup.

"I will be going to the World Cup, but I still have to work hard, obviously, to prove to the coach that I want to be part of the national team," Zwane responded.
