Last night, the final quarter-final matches of Copa America took place. Brazil faced Uruguay and was eliminated in a penalty shootout.

This marks the end of the continental championship for Seleção. It was a challenging tournament for them, as they managed to secure only one victory in four matches. The Brazilian team will now have a short rest before returning to their clubs and preparing for the next season.

Following the match, Brazil's young talent and soon-to-be Real Madrid player, Endrick, shared his emotions and expectations. It’s worth noting that he cannot officially join Los Blancos until July 21, when he turns 18.

After the match, Endrick expressed his eagerness to join Real Madrid:

"Right now, I am thinking about Real Madrid. It’s hard to talk about the match because, unfortunately, we are out. But my mind is in Madrid."

Real Madrid signed Endrick in December 2022, and now, a year and a half later, the Brazilian will finally arrive in the Spanish capital. The signing of the then 16-year-old cost Los Blancos €47.5 million.

At Copa America, Endrick had the opportunity to prepare for future performances with his teammates. He played alongside Vinícius Júnior, Éder Militão, and Rodrygo in the Brazilian national team.
