The world's 32nd-ranked player has made it to the final of Wimbledon 2024
Today, the second finalist in the women's singles tournament at Wimbledon 2024 has been determined.
In the second semifinal match, Czech tennis player Barbora Krejčíková, who is ranked 32nd in the world, defeated the fourth-ranked Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
The first set was extremely dramatic. Krejčíková made two breaks but lost her serve three times, ultimately losing 3-6.
In the second set, however, Krejčíková made no mistakes on her serve, made a break, and won 6-3. The decisive set was highly competitive and fascinating, but Rybakina lost one game on her serve and was defeated 4-6.
In the final on Saturday, July 13, Krejčíková will face Jasmine Paolini, who won a dramatic match against Croatia's Donna Vekić earlier today.
For Krejčíková, this will be her second final at a Grand Slam tournament. In 2021, she triumphed at Roland Garros.
