The World Snooker Championship 2025 to be held in Sheffield: Prize money, where to watch, and who are the favorites?


From April 19 to May 5, Sheffield will host one of the year's main snooker events: the World Snooker Championship 2025.
This will be the 49th consecutive tournament held at the Crucible Theatre.
The total prize fund is set at £2,395,000, with the winner guaranteed to receive £500,000.

In the UK, the event will be broadcast by BBC and TNT Sports. In Europe, fans can watch the top players battle it out on Eurosport, while in other parts of the world, it will be available on WST Play.
The main tournament draw will feature the top 16 players. Another 16 spots will be determined through qualification, involving 128 players.
Bookmakers have pegged Judd Trump as the tournament's favorite. Mark Selby and Ronnie O'Sullivan are also in the top three contenders.
