The winner of the NHL regular season has been determined

Last night on April 16th, the New York Rangers played their final game of the NHL regular season against the Ottawa Senators.

The Rangers secured a convincing and "shutout" victory with a score of 4-0. With this result, New York has now amassed 114 points. The closest two pursuers have 111 points each. Thus, the Rangers have become the winners of the NHL regular season. Their opponents have one game left, but at most, they can gather 113 points. This marks the fourth such achievement in the club's history.
