The U.S. basketball team has finalized its roster of 12 players for the 2024 Olympic Games, as announced by journalist Adrian Wojnarowski.

The selected players include LeBron James, Anthony Davis (Lakers), Stephen Curry (Golden State), Kevin Durant, Devin Booker (Phoenix), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota), Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday (Boston), Bam Adebayo (Miami), and Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana).

Initially, the 12th spot on the team remained vacant, but on Wednesday, team officials were able to confirm Kawhi Leonard's (Clippers) agreement to join the squad in Paris.

It's worth noting that LeBron James will be participating in his fourth Olympic Games in his career. He holds a bronze medal from 2004 and gold medals from 2008 and 2012. Haliburton and Edwards are the only players from the roster who competed in the 2023 World Championship, where the Americans went without medals.

Additionally, Golden State point guard Chris Paul will miss the NBA playoffs for the first time in 14 years.
