The transfer saga continues! Barcelona target Rashford once again
The Marcus Rashford and Barcelona story is taking another dramatic turn.
Details: According to insider Graeme Bailey, Barcelona remain interested in Marcus Rashford and may still make a move to sign the Manchester United forward before the summer transfer window closes. The Catalan giants are keeping up regular contact with the Englishman's representatives, seriously considering a potential deal.
Let's recall that Rashford spent the 2025/26 season at Barcelona on loan. The Catalan side had the option to buy the player for £26 million, but allowed the clause to expire in June, sending the forward back to Old Trafford.
However, circumstances have changed: following Robert Lewandowski's departure, Barcelona are left without a clear-cut central striker and have already compiled a shortlist of attacking reinforcements. Bringing back Rashford, who is already familiar with the club's philosophy, looks like a logical move.
It's worth noting that throughout his career, Rashford has made 426 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, scoring 138 goals. The 28-year-old has also earned 62 caps and netted 17 goals for the England national team.
Reminder: Wow! Barcelona close to signing Milan star.
