The race for Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi is intensifying.

Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, following recent talks with Juventus, the Argentine defender’s agents held official meetings this week with representatives from Roma and Borussia Dortmund. Previously, there were also reports of Barcelona’s interest in the player.

It’s reported that the situation for Bournemouth has reached a critical point: Senesi has officially rejected the club’s offer to extend his contract. The player has made it clear to the Cherries’ management that he does not intend to stay at the Vitality Stadium and is ready to move on.

Juventus see him as a replacement for their aging defenders, while Roma and Borussia are looking to strengthen ahead of the Champions League without huge transfer fees.

Notably, this season the player has featured in 27 matches for Bournemouth across all competitions, providing 4 assists. Transfermarkt currently values him at €22 million.

Reminder: Roma are ready to open talks for a permanent transfer of Malen from Aston Villa.
