Roma signed forward Donyell Malen on loan from Aston Villa and are already prepared to make the move permanent.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma are ready to activate the purchase option for Malen. Aston Villa would receive €25 million, on top of the €2 million loan fee already paid.
The obligation to buy clause will be triggered if Roma qualify for either the Champions League or the Europa League, and if the player features in 50 percent of the matches before June.
In addition, Villa will retain a 10 percent sell-on clause from any future transfer.
Donyell Malen has made five appearances for Roma and has already found the net five times. His side currently sit fourth in the table with 47 points after 25 rounds.
Reminder: Manchester City have set their sights on 22-year-old Brazilian right-back Wesley, with reports suggesting the Citizens are prepared to offer the Giallorossi around €50 million.
