Breel Embolo, the Swiss national team and Monaco forward, assessed the chances of a potential transfer to Bayern Munich.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić considered Embolo as a striker for the Munich team a few years ago. The player himself recently commented on the possible transfer.

"I hope you understand that I cannot say anything out of respect for my club and Bayern. Of course, it’s a great club. Max is there now. I know Leroy, Dayot, Leon, and Choupo very well. So, it's a club I watch on Saturdays or Sundays. But I am not thinking about it, and I cannot and will not comment on it," said Embolo.

Incidentally, Bayern's winger Kingsley Coman is likely to leave the team in the current summer transfer window. PSG has shown interest in Coman, with the potential transfer fee ranging from 40 to 50 million euros.

Bayern is known to be willing to release Coman, as Crystal Palace's star Michael Olise, whose transfer has already been agreed upon by the Munich club, will take his position.
