Manchester United and Liverpool clashed at Old Trafford in the 32nd round of the Premier League, resulting in a 2:2 draw.

Liverpool found themselves trailing until the 84th minute, when Mohamed Salah rescued his team from defeat by converting a penalty, setting the final score in the match.

Interestingly, the star Egyptian has now scored six goals on Manchester United's turf in Premier League matches, surpassing any other player in the tournament's history. The previous record belonged to another Merseyside legend, Steven Gerrard (5 goals).

In the current season, the 31-year-old Salah has accumulated 23 goals and 13 assists in 35 matches across all competitions.

This outcome at Old Trafford allowed Arsenal to retain the top position in the league. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have 71 points, but Arsenal holds a better goal difference. Manchester City remains third with 70 points.
