Last week, from April 11th to 14th, Augusta hosted one of the premier golf tournaments - the Masters.

According to journalist Josh Carpenter, the viewership for the final round on CBS totaled 9.589 million, a 20% decrease compared to last year. This marks the lowest Masters tournament rating since 2021.

As a reminder, the winner of the Masters tournament, for the second time in three years, was American Scottie Scheffler. The golfer finished the tournament with a score of -11 under par. In second place was Ludwig Oberg with a score of -7 under par, and in third place, there were three golfers: Homa, Fleetwood, and Morikawa, all with a score of -4 under par.

It's worth noting that Scheffler recently achieved another historic feat. He won THE PLAYERS Championship for the second consecutive year. Remarkably, he became the first golfer in the 50-year history of the tournament to successfully defend his title.
