The star of Roma will miss the return match against Brighton in the Europa League

Roma's forward Romelu Lukaku did not travel with Roma's delegation for the second leg match of the Europa League round of 16 against Brighton.

Lukaku, who scored a goal against Brighton in the first leg, did not train with his teammates on Wednesday morning, raising concerns that he would not be able to travel to the south coast of England. Indeed, the Belgian remained in Rome. However, Roma did not make any official statements regarding the reason for the player's absence.

Lukaku has been playing for Roma since the beginning of the current season on loan from Chelsea. The 30-year-old forward has scored 18 goals and provided 4 assists in 36 matches for the Wolves in all competitions.

Earlier reports suggested that Chelsea would try to sell Lukaku at any cost in the summer. The London club is even willing to lower the transfer fee for Roma or any other potential buyer.
