Atlético Madrid may attempt to sign one of the top scorers from the French championship this summer - Lille's forward Jonathan David.

In the upcoming transfer window, Atlético will need a new striker, considering that Ángel Correa, Memphis Depay, or Álvaro Morata may be sold.

Last summer, Los Colchoneros already tried to sign the player, but at that time, the forward was not affordable for the Madrid club. Currently, the player can be bought for just 25 million euros, as the Canadian's contract with Les Dogues expires in just a year.
