Atletico Madrid and Spain's forward, Alvaro Morata, is likely to leave the club this summer and move to another team.

According to Nicolò Schira, AC Milan is prepared to pay his release clause of €13 million to acquire Morata. The Rossoneri are ready to offer him a contract until 2028 with an annual salary of €5 million euros and are planning a medical examination later this week.

It will be recalled that before that, Atletico Madrid striker and Spain captain Alvaro Morata changed his mind about joining the Saudi Arabian league.

Milan believes that the experienced Spanish forward is the perfect replacement for Olivier Giroud, who has joined Los Angeles FC as a free agent.

It is expected that Atlético Madrid might replace Morata with last season's top scorer in La Liga, Artem Dovbyk from Girona.

Last season, Morata scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists in 32 matches for Atlético Madrid. The 31-year-old forward's contract with Atlético Madrid runs until the summer of 2026.
