Following the appointment of Paulo Fonseca as the new head coach, AC Milan continues to actively work on strengthening their squad.

It was previously reported that Milan is interested in Udinese's key player, central midfielder Lazar Samardžić. The Rossoneri have inquired about the conditions for a potential transfer of the 22-year-old.

According to Nicolo Schira, Samardžić is keen to join the Rossoneri. His father and agent, Mladen, will engage in talks with Milan only after the clubs reach an agreement. A meeting between the two clubs is expected in the coming days.

Despite the rumors, the player was in Berlin this week, not Milan.

In 97 matches for Udinese, Samardžić has scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists. He previously played for RB Leipzig and Hertha.

By the way, Milan have finally found a replacement for their main striker Olivier Giroud, who moved to Los Angeles FC as a free agent after the end of the season.
