However, the governing body of Senegalese football still has several days left to lodge an appeal.

Senegalese football officials had announced that they would challenge before the Court of Arbitration for Sport the decision by the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football to overturn the victory of the Lions of Teranga and award it to Morocco’s Atlas Lions. But a few days after the verdict handed down by CAF on 17 March, Senegal has not yet lodged an appeal, according to information from the Moroccan journalist Omar Chraïbi, who claims to have contacted the CAS.

However, in accordance with the regulations, the Senegalese Football Federation has 10 days from the decision of the CAF Appeals Committee to lodge an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
