Former Al Nassr midfielder and current Fenerbahce player Anderson Talisca delivered a sharp response to claims that the level of the Saudi Pro League is inferior to Major League Soccer.
Details: The Brazilian insisted that the American league is nowhere near the level of the Saudi Arabian Championship.
"The Saudi league has never been weaker than MLS. Messi's team came to Saudi Arabia and lost 0-6 — there’s simply no comparison," the Brazilian stated.
He also highlighted the difference in player professionalism:
"In the league where Messi plays, there are players who play football first and then go to college. That alone shows the huge difference."
