Paris Saint-Germain's main goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, will be unavailable for the team in the next two matches of Ligue 1.
The goalkeeper received a direct red card during the 14th round match of the French Liga 1 against Havre, as reported by Football Italia. The suspension will only apply to matches within the French league. Consequently, the Italian goalkeeper will miss the championship games against Nantes and Lille.
Donnarumma was shown the red card in the 10th minute of the encounter against Havre for a rough tackle on Jozué Casimir. Despite being reduced to 10 men for most of the match, PSG secured a convincing 2-0 victory.
Donnarumma has been playing for the French club since 2021, moving from Milan. In the current season, the Italian national team goalkeeper has appeared in 19 matches, keeping nine clean sheets.
PSG leads Ligue 1 outright with 33 points after playing 14 matches. In the Champions League, under the management of Luis Enrique, the team ranks second in their group after five rounds and hasn't yet secured a place in the playoffs. On December 9th, the Parisian team will face Nantes in the league, followed by a match against Borussia Dortmund on the 12th in the Champions League.
