The 2024 Roland Garros champion, Carlos Alcaraz, has shared his ambitious career goals.

Alcaraz clinched his first French Open title, defeating Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the final.

"Yesterday, I spoke with Juan Carlos. Before stepping into the final, he told me that I would be fighting for my third Grand Slam title, considering everything I’ve been through. It’s incredible to think about winning a Grand Slam, and Djokovic has 24. So, it’s truly remarkable.

Right now, I can't dwell on it. I just want to keep going and see how many Grand Slam tournaments I can win by the end of my career. I hope to reach 24, but for now, I'm going to enjoy my third, and we'll see what happens," Alcaraz shared.

This final marked Alcaraz's third Grand Slam final in his career, and notably, he has won all three.

Interestingly, Carlos has become the youngest player to win a Grand Slam on all three surfaces – the US Open in 2022, Wimbledon in 2023, and Roland Garros in 2024.
