The right move: Kylian Mbappé apologizes to volunteer after hitting him with the ball
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé found himself in an awkward situation during the pre-match warm-up ahead of the clash with PSG. The Frenchman accidentally struck a volunteer standing behind the goal with the ball.
Right after the incident, he rushed over to the affected man, apologized, and made sure he was alright, according to The Sun. Mbappé also handed the man a bottle of water so he could drink and wash up. After that, the forward returned to training.
It’s worth noting that the match itself turned into a real nightmare for Real Madrid. The team conceded three goals by the 25th minute, and the game ended in a humiliating 4-0 defeat for the Spanish side at the hands of PSG.
Mbappé, who started the match, was unable to help his team in this showdown against his former club.
Additionally, the FIFA Club World Cup final is set for Sunday, July 13. PSG will face off against London’s Chelsea.
