Al Nassr is losing its leader ahead of a crucial match for a rather foolish reason.

Details: As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his social media page on X, the 41-year-old Al Nassr striker, the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, will not feature in tomorrow's Saudi Pro League Round 21 clash against Al-Ittihad due to an ongoing boycott. The Portuguese forward announced the boycott following a dispute with the club's management.

It is reported that Ronaldo's dissatisfaction has not subsided, and he is determined to stick to his stance, even at the cost of his own and the team's results.

Ronaldo is rapidly closing in on the coveted 1,000-goal milestone, currently boasting 961 goals to his name. However, this ongoing boycott and missing crucial matches could seriously jeopardize his pursuit of this historic achievement.

This season, Ronaldo has played 22 matches for Al Nassr, scoring 18 goals and providing 3 assists. His current contract with the Saudi powerhouse runs until 2027.

Reminder: Ronaldo to boycott Al Nassr match again and will not play against Al-Ittihad
