David Higgins, the promoter of New Zealander Joseph Parker, has named potential opponents for his client's next fight.

"I don't think Joseph should step back. He looked great against good opposition. He has a good pace, so I think next will be Hrgovic, Zhang Zhilei, or Andy Ruiz. Any of these fights, if the money is right, will be interesting, beneficial, and a good test. It will be a big fight. Parker doesn't want to step back," said Higgins.

It's worth noting that Hrgovic is number one in the IBF rankings, Zhang holds the top spot in the WBO rankings, and Ruiz is a former unified world champion.

On December 23, Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KO) unexpectedly lost to Parker (34-3, 23 KO) by unanimous decision (111-118, 110-118, 108-120).

Earlier, it was reported that Zhang Zhilei and Deontay Wilder could have a bout on the undercard of Joshua-Ngannou.
