Another cool fight. Zhilei and Wilder could fight on Joshua – Ngannou undercard

Former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and interim WBO champion Zhang Zhilei (26-1-1, 21 KOs) could potentially face each other in the undercard of the Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) vs. former UFC champion Francis Ngannou bout.

This information comes from insider Chris Mannix. According to the source, Wilder and Zhang may either fight each other or have separate matches.

The boxing event is reported to take place on March 8th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On December 23rd, Wilder suffered a defeat to Joseph Parker in the undercard of the Joshua vs. Otto Wallin bout. Zhang Zhilei knocked out Joe Joyce in their rematch in September 2023.
