The price Man United have to pay for Amorim has been revealed

Yesterday, Manchester United sacked Erik ten Hag, and the club has swiftly begun the search for his replacement.

Details: Fabrizio Romano confirms that Manchester United has set its sights on Sporting Lisbon’s head coach, Rúben Amorim.

The insider also noted the amount United will need to pay. Amorim’s contract with Sporting includes a €10 million release clause, applicable only for top clubs outside Portugal.

Amorim has reportedly given his approval for the move to Manchester United and is now waiting for both clubs to reach an agreement.

Reminder: Over the summer, Liverpool considered Amorim’s candidacy but ultimately opted for Arne Slot. Amorim has also been linked as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City should Guardiola depart next summer.

Following their defeat to West Ham, Manchester United currently sits 14th in the Premier League standings.
