The 2026 Winter Olympic Games are currently taking place in Italy, and the President of the United States could be among the high-profile guests. However, his visit would depend on one specific condition.

Details: According to Italian media reports, the U.S. President could travel to Milan if Team USA reach the Olympic hockey final. The visit would not include official meetings, formal dinners, or any protocol events.

Trump is reportedly planning to attend exclusively the final match. There is also the possibility of his appearance at the Closing Ceremony of the Games.

Meanwhile, the Finnish Ski Association, together with the Finnish Olympic Committee, has lodged an official protest with the jury of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) following the sprint events at the 2026 Olympics.
