It's worth noting that Xavi Hernandez has reversed his decision and will stay on as the head coach of Barcelona, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Following a meeting and President Laporta's insistence that he remain, Xavi has accepted Barcelona's terms and will continue his role as head coach.

Xavi, who was a legend for Barcelona as a player, has been leading the Catalan team since the fall of 2021. Under his guidance, the "blaugranas" won the league and Spanish Sopercopa in 2023.

In the current campaign, Barcelona trail Real Madrid by 11 points with six rounds remaining in the championship and maintain only theoretical chances of claiming the title.
