The legendary American golfer Tiger Woods has been granted lifetime access to all major golf tournaments.

Journalist Sean Zak reported that the PGA Tour's policy board made this decision. Starting in 2025, Tiger Woods will have access to all top-tier golf tournaments for the rest of his life. Notably, there are eight such tournaments.

Tiger Woods is an American golfer and a 15-time Major tournament winner. He was named Laureus World Sports Awards Sportsman of the Year in 2000 and 2001 and holds numerous golf records.

In May 2019, Woods was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Donald Trump, becoming the fourth golfer to receive this honor. In 2021, he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Throughout his career, Woods has won 82 PGA Tour tournaments (tied for second place in history with Sam Snead) and 40 European Tour tournaments (third place in history behind Seve Ballesteros and Bernhard Langer).

He is the first athlete to become a billionaire, though he earned the majority of his wealth (around 90%) through endorsements rather than on the golf course.

Notably, Woods became the first player in Masters history to make the cut 24 consecutive times.
