This week, from April 12th to April 14th, one of the most renowned and prestigious golf tournaments, the Masters, is taking place.

The legendary American golfer Tiger Woods is also participating in the tournament. In the initial two rounds, he exhibited rather commendable performances. On the first day, he executed two birdies and three bogeys, thus completing the day with 73 strokes. In the second round, Woods encountered genuine challenges: four birdies and four bogeys. He required 72 strokes on the second day.

As a result, he concluded the two rounds with a score of +1. Tiger required 145 strokes out of 144. Nevertheless, notwithstanding this, he still managed to advance and will compete in the third and fourth rounds. Woods became the first player in the history of the Masters to complete 24 consecutive rounds.

The Masters tournament will take place from Thursday to Sunday, April 11-14. It is the first of four major golf tournaments in the series. It is held annually at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Since 1949, the champion has been awarded the iconic green jacket, which must be returned to the Augusta National Club a year after their victory. The jacket remains their personal property and is stored alongside the jackets of other champions in a specially designated wardrobe.
