In the decisive match, the Norwegian handball players defeated their French opponents (29:21) to win the gold medals.

While the first half of the match was closely contested, the Norwegian team completely outplayed their rivals after the break (15:13, 14:8).

The bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics was claimed by Denmark, who beat Sweden (30:25) in the third-place match.
