The nominees for young player of the season in English football have been announced. Who made the cut?

The Professional Footballers' Association of England has unveiled the shortlist of six nominees for the 2024/2025 Young Player of the Season award in English football. Here’s who made the list.
Details: Former Ipswich Town striker and now Chelsea forward Liam Delap is in contention, alongside Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly, Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez, Arsenal winger Ethan Nwaneri, Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, and another former Bournemouth player who recently moved to Real Madrid – Dean Huijsen.
Notably, the Premier League’s own Young Player of the Season, Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch, is absent from this shortlist. The PFA award winner will be revealed on August 19 at the ceremony in Manchester. The current holder of the title is Chelsea’s standout, Cole Palmer.
Reminder: This season, both of the Premier League’s top individual awards headed to Anfield. In addition to the Young Player of the Season accolade, the MVP award was claimed by Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah.
