In the current season, the NHL has already staged four exhibition games in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
For several consecutive years, the NFL has held its matches at the stadium of the football club Tottenham, and it is anticipated that American football will soon grace the renovated Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The NBA has adopted the regular practice of hosting games in France.
