The NFL generated approximately $13 billion in revenue for the 2023 season

During the past season, the NFL managed to generate approximately $13 billion. Each team will receive €400 million.
According to Sportico, the sum increased by 6-8% compared to the 2022 season, though it depends on the accounting system used by each team. The total amount of $13 billion includes national media rights, league sponsorships, shared revenue, and royalties from various affiliates and subsidiaries, such as NFL Properties, NFL International, and NFL Enterprises.
Moreover, the league’s media rights contracts with ESPN, Fox, CBS, NBC, Amazon, and YouTube constitute a significant portion of the revenue, which will be evenly distributed. Additionally, in 2023, the NFL had over three dozen league sponsors.
It is worth noting that the NFL team Carolina Panthers will remain in Charlotte, as the city council allocated funds for stadium renovations. According to the plan, $800 million has been allocated for the stadium's refurbishment.
