Yesterday, in the 33rd round of the English Premier League, Newcastle hosted Tottenham.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring as early as the 30th minute, completing a brace in the 51st minute. Fabian Schar and Anthony Gordon also made their mark.

Gordon's goal against Spurs marked his tenth in the Premier League this season, having scored against all teams in the "big six." In addition to his goal against Tottenham, he has previously disappointed Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and both Manchester teams this season.

His first goal in the Premier League season came against Liverpool in the third round match. However, the "Reds" still managed to win (2-1). In the eleventh round, Gordon scored the only winning goal against Arsenal (1-0). In the thirteenth round match against Chelsea, Gordon sealed the match with a final goal, also providing one assist (4-1). In the following round, his goal against Manchester United was the only one and secured victory (1-0). Although his goal against Manchester City in the 21st round allowed his team to take the lead, the citizens managed to overcome the opponent and win (3-2).

He became only the second person to achieve such a feat. The first was Jamie Vardy of Leicester City, who managed to score against these teams in the 2017/18 season.

Despite Gordon's two assists in the first and last goals, as well as his second goal, he was not named the best player of yesterday's match. This honor went to his partner, brace scorer Alexander Isak.

Thanks to yesterday's victory, Newcastle managed to surpass West Ham and Manchester United in the league table, securing the sixth position. The team is ten points away from the European competition zone.
