The NBA is planning an expansion, and the entry fee for joining the league has been revealed

The NBA is considering expanding the league to include a new team, but the cost for a new club will be quite high.
According to Fortune, the new team is planned for Las Vegas. The entry fee and construction of an arena for home games are estimated to reach around seven billion dollars. Potential owners for the new team include LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and a company that owns the Red Bull brand.
It was recently reported that the upcoming Olympics might be LeBron's last. In an interview with NBC, the basketball legend stated that he will not participate in the 2028 Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles.
By the time of the 2028 Olympics, the Lakers star will be 43 years old and may well have ended his career by then. It is worth noting that he recently extended his contract with the club for one year, and the team already has a potential replacement in the form of his eldest son, Bronny.
