Details: Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa emphasized that his top priority is achieving the best possible result, which is delivered by the team’s leaders.
"I understand these discussions, but I always want the best players on the pitch. The more minutes they play, the better it is for us," said the Los Blancos manager.
As an example of the irreplaceability of his stars, Arbeloa pointed to the recent match against Villarreal. The coach reminded everyone that it was the individual brilliance of key players that allowed the team to turn the game around:
"The second goal was the result of a fantastic pass from Vinicius. Players like him can change the course of a match at any moment, which is why they spend so much time on the pitch."
Arbeloa also couldn’t resist taking a jab at critics and rivals who question his squad selections. According to the coach, debates about "untouchables" are often fueled from the outside.
"Of course, there are people who don’t support Real and simply don’t want to see such strong players in our lineup," he added.
It’s worth noting that Real Madrid’s clash with Rayo Vallecano will take place tomorrow, February 1, at 14:00 Central European Time.
Reminder: Former Real Madrid and Spain international Sergio Ramos will face Andrew Tate in the ring.
