The radical supporters' group of Real Madrid, “Ultras Sur,” is planning a high-profile protest against the club president, Florentino Pérez.
Details: According to Tomás González-Martín, the demonstration is scheduled to take place today during the 22nd round of La Liga against Rayo Vallecano. The fans intend to voice their dissatisfaction with the club's management both before kick-off outside the stadium and during the match from the stands.
The main demand of the protesters is the immediate resignation of Florentino Pérez. The relationship between “Ultras Sur” and the president has remained extremely tense for many years, mainly due to Pérez's hardline approach toward radical fan groups.
It is worth noting that the Real Madrid vs. Rayo Vallecano match is scheduled for today, February 1, at 14:00 Central European Time.
Recall: Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa explained the indispensability of Vinicius and other stars, stating that the more time they spend on the pitch, the better it is for the team.
