AC Milan midfielder Ismaël Bennacer has left the Algerian national team's camp due to an injury.

As reported by Football-Italia, the defensive midfielder has a minor muscle issue, and he is being sent back to the club's medical staff for evaluation. This is considered merely a precautionary measure, and the decision was made in consultation with Milan's medical team.

It is expected that Bennacer will be ready to play in Milan's next Serie A match against Fiorentina.

The Algerian national team player was sidelined from May to November 2023 due to knee surgery. This season, he has only appeared in 15 official matches for the Rossoneri.

In March, Algeria is scheduled to play two friendly matches. On March 22, the team will face Bolivia, and on the 26th, they will play against South Africa.
