The Messi Effect. Tickets for the Galaxy vs. Inter Miami match sold out within six minutes

On Thursday, January 11, the Los Angeles Galaxy announced the start of ticket sales for their MLS match against Inter Miami.

As reported by AS, tickets for this match sold out within six minutes. Only front-row tickets priced at $1,500 remained available. The game between Los Angeles Galaxy and Inter Miami is scheduled for February 25. Recently, Inter Miami sold out all-season tickets for the upcoming season. Apart from Lionel Messi, the team also features Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba.

It's worth noting that Sporting Kansas City will host an MLS match against Inter Miami at a different stadium. While "Children's Mercy Park" is the usual home ground for the Kansas City team, the match against Inter Miami will take place at the Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs in American football.

This decision was driven by the incredible demand generated by the game. Sporting's CEO Jake Reid added that this event is poised to become the biggest in Kansas City this spring.
