Sporting Kansas City will host an MLS match against Inter Miami at a different venue, as reported by AS.

While the team typically plays at the "Children's Mercy Park," the clash with Inter Miami will take place at the Kansas City Chiefs' "Arrowhead Stadium," home to the American football team. The match is scheduled for Saturday, April 13th. Sporting's President and CEO, Jake Reid, explained the decision.

"This match has generated unprecedented interest since MLS released our schedule less than three weeks ago," he said.

The CEO added that this event aims to be the highlight of spring in Kansas. They take pride in collaborating with Arrowhead Events, all in the pursuit of providing an extraordinary experience for fans and teams alike. Jake Reid emphasized the excitement of hosting this match, which will mark Lionel Messi's debut in MLS on the Midwestern U.S. soil.

Tickets are set to go on general sale on Tuesday, January 16th, with the lowest-priced ticket at $65. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets earlier, starting on Wednesday, January 10th.
