The Manchester United defender will soon return to recovery after his injury
Manchester United's English central defender Harry Maguire is nearing his return from injury and is set to resume training.
On the Red Devils' website, it was reported that the player did not travel for the team's first preseason match against Rosenborg. However, he has started individual training sessions on the field. Maguire is following a separate, personalized training program.
Maguire last played for Manchester United at the end of April, featuring in a 1-1 draw against Burnley in the Premier League. He suffered a muscle injury that ended his season prematurely and also caused him to miss Euro 2024.
Despite media reports suggesting Manchester United are close to signing Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, the club is also considering alternative options to strengthen their center-back position, such as Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah.
