The legendary Hummels has a transfer option to a La Liga club

After leaving Borussia Dortmund as a free agent, legendary central defender Mats Hummels remains without a club. However, it has been revealed that he has a potential opportunity to continue his career in La Liga.
According to *Noticias de Gipuzkoa*, Real Sociedad’s management is actively discussing the idea of signing Hummels. The club believes that the 35-year-old German fits perfectly into their style of play and could effectively replace Robin Le Normand, who recently moved to Atlético Madrid.
Previously, it was reported that Hummels was in negotiations with Brighton. He has also attracted interest from Como, Bologna, and Juventus.
Last season, Hummels made 40 appearances for Borussia Dortmund across all competitions, scoring four goals.
Over his career with the "Black and Yellows," the central defender has played 508 matches, scoring 38 goals and providing 23 assists. Hummels was also part of Jürgen Klopp's legendary team that won the Bundesliga title twice.
