Premier League or Serie A. Hummels has two options for continuing his career

German defender Mats Hummels is currently a free agent, as his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired at the end of June. The player is in search of a new team and has several interesting options.

Brighton’s head coach, Fabian Gürtçeler, has stated that the club is in negotiations to sign the 35-year-old central defender. This was reported by journalist Florian Plettenberg.

"We have established mutual respect and good communication with Mats. Now it is up to the player to decide whether he is 100% ready to join our club," said the Brighton manager.

Insider Nicolo Schira reported that Hummels' agents have offered him to Juventus, but Turin is not thrilled with the idea, although they have not yet given a definitive refusal.

Last season, the 35-year-old German defender played 40 matches for Dortmund, scored four goals, and provided one assist.
